More Memories from the Gasthaus 4/14/2026

$70.00

Tuesday, April 14th ● 6:30 - 9:00 pm ● “More Memories from the Gasthaus” ● Demonstration Class ● Nina Greipel and Annemarie Greipel -- Gasthaus German Restaurant ● $70.00

A Louisville staple for nearly three decades this family owned restaurant became more than a local favorite — it became a cherished tradition - a hidden gem where authentic German flavors met the spirit of Gemütlichkeit. Founded in 1993 by Annemarie and Michael Greipel, the community’s hearts broke when time for retirement arrived and the doors closed. There were so many requests for the family’s recipes, Nina Greipel, daughter of the founders, wrote a family cookbook where the Gasthaus spirit has been kept alive. Nina will have her family’s cookbook available for sale after class and will be happy to autograph it for you. Our 10% discount does not apply to this purchase.

Menu: Flammkuchen ~ German Pizza with bacon, onions, and creme fraiche ~ an Alsatian specialty, great as a snack or a light meal Jäger Schnitzel ~ tender, breaded pork loin with a mushroom, onion, and bacon sauce. A Gasthaus favorite! Spätzle egg noodles Blackforest Cake ~ layered chocolate cake with cherries, whipped cream, and real Kirschwasser, covered in chocolate shavings.

*Two glasses of wine are included in the price of each seat. No BYOB.
