Manos a la Masa - Tamales, Sides & Salsa 7/11/26

Join us for Manos a la Masa, a celebration of tamales made by hand and the flavors that surround them. Karen will demonstrate how to fold tamales, avoid common mistakes, make masa from scratch, including traditional and vegetarian, and reheating/storage tips. After this, you will make your own tamales with freshly made masa, steam them, and enjoy a feast.
Menu: Masa Harina - masa whipped with lard or vegetable shortening and seasoned ● Two Fillings - Red Chile Pork and Salsa Verde Chicken ● Mexican White Rice - tomato‑sauté base ● Refried Pinto Beans (or black beans for vegetarian option) ● Fresh Salsa Verde.
*Two glasses of wine are included in the price of each seat. No BYOB. CAPACITY: 14
